If a child is unwell for any reason and has to miss sessions there will be no monetary refund. However, we do attempt to replace sessions where possible. Children that are not fully potty trained must attend nursery with at least 4 nappies and a full change of clothes. Rising Stars nursery has set behaviour management for children. The use of physical punishment e.g. smacking, slapping, or deprivation of food or drink is not allowed.

MEDICAL

Medical conditions

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

When you put forward an application for a place at our nursery we require that you disclose any serious or reoccurring medical problems your child may have and agree to follow our guidelines surrounding sudden illnesses.

We follow medical guidelines on certain illnesses and for anything infectious e.g. Conjunctivitis, chickenpox, worms, head lice, etc. In this case, your child cannot attend nursery for a minimum of 48 hours. If you are unsure whether this applies to your child, you can always phone the nursery.

All prescribed medicine must be clearly labeled with your child's name and must be handed to a member of staff. We only administer medicine on prescription. Before any is administered, you are asked to complete a form giving instructions with your signature.

It is essential that we have an emergency contact number in case of accidents or illness. Please do not send an unwell child to the nursery, they will be miserable, unwilling to learn, and may pass the illness to the other children as well as members of staff. We do keep to the guidelines above and will send home any unwell child.

(Please note that Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Parent of children that attend Rising Stars accept any new  Terms and Conditions.)
